Obituary:

Lillie Mae Prowell, 85 of Orlando, departed this life on Thursday, July 21, 2022. Lillie Mae was born on November 13, 1936 in Amsterdam, GA to the late Essie and Henry Tillman. Professionally, Lillie Mae was employed as a nurses aide and later became a bus monitor with Orange County Public Schools. She dedicated her life to her family, her faith and community. She was an active member of The Apostolic Worship Center Orlando. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her children and family to follow. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Lillie Mae is survived by her loving daughters, Willie Mae (Charles) Young, Jean Richardson; brother, Lusher (Sharon) Williams; sisters, Julia (Dr. Theo) Ivey, Jimmie Lee Chandler; 5 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and a host of great great grandchildren, other relatives, church family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, 11:00 AM at The Apostolic Worship Center, 8001 Silver Star Road, Orlando with Bishop Frank E. Thompson, officiating. Interment: Orlando Memorial Gardens, Apopka.
