Obituary:

Lilia E. Callender, 85, of Orlando, departed this life on Thursday, January 2, 2025. ‘Tia’, as she was affectionately called, was born on December 19, 1939 to Hilda B. and Clement Brayton in Silver City, Panama. Tia was a woman with a heart of gold who loved spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Lilia leaves to cherish her memories: son, Humberto (Tasha) Nunez; sister, Jean Knight; devoted niece and caregiver, Zenaida Brayton; 6 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 from 4-6 PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, 3:00PM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando.

    I love you granny 👵, and I miss you so much,I remember when I called you on your birthday on the 19th of December last year 2024 we were talking and laughing together but I never knew that would be the last time I ever talk to you, you always seem so happy when ever we talked,your laughter gave me joy granny,I will forever miss you so much granny as you rest in the bossom of the Lord God Almighty🌸 💐💐💐

    We love you so much and we will miss you so much Auntie …You we’re a sweet person!!!! Who always made us happy smile when we were sad and laugh and tell jokes to keep from crying. We will always Hold!!! You close to our hearts and will never forget the love and memories we shared with you Auntie….
