Lawson George Burroughs, 58, of Orlando, departed this life on Saturday, July 6, 2024. George was born in Kingstree, SC on July 24, 1965 to the late Frances L. Cray and Clarence Montgomery. At a young age he was moved to Rochester New York and that is where he lived and called home up until 2021. After the passing of his mother, George moved to Orlando Florida to pursue entrepreneurship. He started George’s mobile kitchen, his NY style cheesesteak subs was his specialty and instantly became a hot commodity!

George was a devoted Christian and his faith in the lord was abundant. He believed family was everything! He was big on morals and was well respected for standing on his word. One of his talents was his artistic capabilities. Portraits were what he was infamous for. He has drawn portraits of family members, entertainers like Rick James, Aaliyah, and 50 Cent to just name a few. His hobbies included reading, drawing, cooking, studying law, and football. His favorite team was the Buffalo Bills. George will be greatly missed! He has positively impacted so many lives. His time on this earth will forever be memorable.

He is survived by his uncle, David Burroughs (Joelarise); his aunt, Rosa Graham.
