Obituary:
Johnnie Mae Brown, 67, of Orlando, departed this life on Saturday, June 13, 2020. Johnnie Mae was born on June 22, 1952 in Hamilton, Georgia to Lura and Johnny B. Copeland. She worked as a certified nurses assistant for several years. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Johnnie Mae is survived by her loving husband, Rudolph; daughter, Teresa (Paul) Myrick; sisters, Katherine (Andrew) Brown; Ethel Mae Jackson, Julia (Leon) Everette, Shela Thomas; brothers, Jerry Copeland, Freddie Copeland; 3 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2020 from 4-6 PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Friday, June 26, 2020 at 11:00AM, Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, 5200 W. South Street, Orlando, with Pastor Larry G. Mills, officiating.
Executive Order in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic… we will only allow 10 individuals in at a time to enter the funeral home. We must adhere to these guidelines so that we all can remain safe and secure during this crisis. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

To the family of Johnnie Mae Brown (I knew her Copeland), I’m so sorry to hear of passing. I used to work with her at Winter Park Hospital. She was a very nice and funny person. I really enjoyed working with her. You all have my deepest sympathies.
To the family of Mrs. Johnnie Mae Brown. My family and I are so sorry to hear of your loss. Johnnie Mae and I met in the year of 1984 and have been close every since. She was truly a devoted wife, mother and a dear friend. I’ll never forget her. You all have our deepest sympathy.
My deepest condolences to the family. I met her my first job as a CNA at Florida hospital many years ago. Her and I became very close when I took care of Jason. she use to call me her lil daughter. Such a sweet lady, may she Rest In Peace
I will miss my beloved sister. She was truly an angel from god that was called home. My prayers go out to Rudy and her daughter Teresa and the rest of the family. I will miss her.
