Obituary:
John Jacob Weaver, 82, of Orlando, departed this life on Friday, February 21, 2020. John was born on January 13, 1938 in Cuthbert, Georgia to Lois and Johnny Weaver. He worked as a bus driver for Walt Disney Company for several years. He was an active and dedicated member of Mt. Olive AME Church, Orlando. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
John is survived by his beloved wife, Anne Weaver; son, Hamilcar Rashie; daughters, Kimiko Riggs, Fatima (Martin) Thomas, Ruanda (Ivan) Barnes, Michelle (Harvey) Rashed; sisters, Lois Jenkins, Annie D. Davis, Marie Bardge; brothers, George (Annette) Waever, Drew (Lerita) Weaver, Willie (Annetta) Weaver, Booker (Barbara) Weaver, Nelson Weaver, Lysander Weaver; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28, 2020 from 5-7PM at Mt.Olive AME Church, 2525 W. Church Street, Orlando. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at 11:00 AM, Washington Shores Church of Christ, 2818 Orange Center Boulevard, Orlando with Pastor Darrell Hairston, officiating. Interment: Woodlawn Memorial Park, Orlando.
