Obituary:

Ja’Mariona LaShay Bracey, 12, of Orlando, departed this life on Saturday, March 5, 2022. Waywa, as she was known by her family and friends, was born on May 6, 2009 to April Bracey and Curtis E. Taylor, Jr. She was educated in Orange Public Schools system and was enrolled in the ACE Program at the time of her demise. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, creating TikTok videos, playing with her L.O.L. dolls. Her memories will live on in our hearts. She loved her family and showed love to everyone. She was and will continue to be an inspiration to us all for living life in an exemplary way. She was a devoted daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her mother, April Bracey; father, Curtis Taylor, Jr.; brother, DeMaurio King; maternal grandmother, Lacrisa Bracey; maternal great grandmother, Retha Monzon; paternal great grandparents; Keitha Scott, Curtis Taylor Sr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022, 1:00 PM at The Word of God Church, 1733 Mercy Drive, Orlando with Bishop Billy Newton, officiating.
