Obituary:

Jackson “Johnny” Josaphat, 49, of Orlando, Florida departed this life on Saturday, February 6, 2021. Johnny was born on December 14, 1971 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He was born to Stephanie Delice and Pierre M. Josaphat; however, he was raised by Joseph Y. Desile, Sr. and considered Joseph as a father rather than a Stepfather. At the time of his passing, Johnny made his living as a Chef. Cooking was his passion. He worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years. Johnny was a loving and devoted father, son, brother, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed.

Johnny leaves his precious memories with his sons, Jamal and Justin Josaphat; daughter, Myreanna Bebe; Mother, Stephanie D. Desile; Father, Joseph Y. Desile, Sr.; siblings, Daphne Josaphat, Joseph Y. Desile Jr., Josette Desile-Long, Joanne Desile, Joel Desile, Josue Desile, Barbara Josaphat, Nadia Josaphat, Kervens Josaphat, Beaca Josaphat, Beatrice Josaphat; devoted friend, Jarvis Young; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, 11:00 AM at the City of Destiny, 505 E. McCormick Road, Apopka with Pastor Todd Lamphere, officiating. Interment: All Faiths Memorial Park, Casselberry, FL.
