Obituary:
Isiah Wilson IV, 40, of Clermont, departed this life on Thursday, June 3, 2021. Isiah, affectionately known as Coach Wilson, was born on January 31, 1981 in Jacksonville, FL to Jennifer Harris and Isiah Wilson III. Isiah was a graduate of the University of Florida, and while there became a proud member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., After graduating from UF, Coach Wilson began his career in education. He taught history and coached football at Lyman High School, Longwood. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Coach Wilson leaves to cherish precious memories: his loving wife, Amanda M. Wilson; son, Isiah Wilson, V; daughter, Amaiah Wilson; mother, Jennifer Wilson; father, Isiah Wilson III; brother, Michael Wilson; sisters, Nakia (Jemelle) Smith, Markiesha Wilson; as well as a host of other relatives, fraternity brothers, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 from 5-7PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021, 12:00 Noon at New Covenant Baptist Church, 2210 S. Rio Grande Avenue, Orlando with Pastor Leroy Rose III, officiating. Interment: Oak Hill Cemetery, Clermont.
The Wilson family is requesting that guests attending the funeral to please wear white.
