Obituary:
Gwendolyn Theresa Bellamy, 75, of Orlando, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2025. Gwen, as she was affectionately called, was born on August 18, 1949 to the late Lucille and Walter Bellamy in Miami, Florida. She received her formal education through the Public School systems. After graduation, Gwen attended Bethune-Cookman College and shortly after entered the workforce.
In her spare time, Gwen enjoyed doing word puzzles, watching soap operas and listening to 70’s music. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Left to honor and cherish her memory: son, Emerson Johnson; sister, Lettie Bellamy; brother, Spencer Bellamy; 3 grandchildren; a a host of other relatives and friends.
A service of memory will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Missionary Baptist Church, 4695 Conway Road, Orlando with Pastor John C. Simmons, eulogist.
