Obituary:
Gloria M. Williams, 90, of Orlando, transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Gloria was born on September 22, 1929 in St. Catherine, Jamaica WI to Nancy L. and Herbert Williams. She was employed as a registered nurse for several years.
Gloria dedicated her life to service to her family and church. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was the matriarch of the Williams family, who instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her children and grandchildren to follow. Gloria was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her: daughter, Alison (Winston) Williams-Lloyd; son, Lloyd (Karen) Williams; 5 grandchildren; a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 5-7PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2020, 11:00 AM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Pastor Benjamin Cummings, officiating. Interment: Woodlawn Memorial Park, Orlando, FL.
