Obituary:

Fitz Wavel St. Rose, 50, of Orlando, departed this life on Thursday, August 25, 2022. Fitz was born on September 7, 1971 in Dominica, West Indies to Clara and Ambrose St. Rose. After completing his formal education, he earned a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Business and was employed as a manager with Academy Sports and Outdoors at the time of his demise.

Fitz was a caring, trustworthy, kind hearted, and respectable man. He loved sports, especially watching the Dallas Cowboys. He was a hard worker, a provider and a devoted family man who enjoyed spending time with his children and family. He was a loving father, son, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Fitz is survived by his children, Ayanna St. Rose, Fitz St. Rose II, Malik St. Rose; parents, Clara and Ambrose St. Rose; sister, Hester St. Rose; brothers, Victor St. Rose, Hanif St. Rose; Ravillius St. Rose; and a host other relatives and numerous friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 from 4-5PM at the mortuary. A service of memory will follow at 5:00PM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando. Final services and burial will take place in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands.
