Obituary:

Ezzie Thomas, 92, of Orlando, departed this life on Sunday, May 21, 2023. Ezzie was born on January 26, 1931 in Madison, FL to the late Lillie M. and Washington Thomas. Ezzie was a veteran of the US Air Force and was discharged as a Staff Sergeant. He later operated his own business as an electronics technician.

Ezzie was a caring, trustworthy, kind hearted and respectable man. He always taught his sons and grandchildren how to be strong and resilient. He was a hard worker and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Ezzie is survived by his 4 sons, Randy (Constance) Thomas, Michael (Armie Jean) Thomas, Peter Thomas, and Ronald Thomas; 11 grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, 11:30 AM at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church of Orlando, 604 W. Jackson Street, Orlando. Interment: Florida National VA Cemetery, Bushnell with full military honors.

    Mr.Thomas was a kind gentle soul who cared deeply for his community. As a member of the FVL family he worked diligently to keep it in good standing. It pains me to know he’s no longer with us. He is going to be sorely missed. My most sincere condolences to the family. Rest in peace my friend.
