Obituary:

Ervin “Speedy” Richardson, 69, of Apopka, departed this life on Monday, October 5, 2020. Ervin was born on October 20, 1950 in Orlando, Florida to Eula Richardson. Ervin was educated in Orange County Public schools and graduated from Phyllis Wheatley High School, Apopka. After graduation, he served his country proudly in the US Army and later worked as a truck driver. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his wife, Elenor; daughters, Nacobie (Chantelle) Simmons, Olivia Richardson; sons, Ervin Richardson, Jr.; sister, Selma (Glen) Jones; brothers, Sylvester Ross, Ronnie Ross; 10 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives, and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2020 from 3-5PM at the mortuary. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 19, 2020, 11:00AM at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, FL with full military honors.

Executive Order in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic… we will only allow 10 individuals in at a time to enter the funeral home. We must adhere to these guidelines so that we all can remain safe and secure during this crisis. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
