Obituary:
Earnestine W. Bagley, 89, of Leesburg, transitioned from labor to reward on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. Earnestine was born on May 26, 1935 in Greenwood, Florida to the late Edna and George Wallace, Sr. She later moved to Leesburg, FL. After working at Woolworth for 10 years, she spent her time volunteering at nursing homes and providing caregiver services to elder church friends in the community.
Earnestine devoted her life to serving God and her church. She was a former member of The Christian Center Church, Leesburg. There, she served on numerous boards and committees. She genuinely loved and supported her church and church family. In addition to being a skilled seamstress, she also enjoyed baking and cooking.
She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for her children and grandchildren to follow.
Earnestine had a heart of gold and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves to cherish her memories a granddaughter, brother, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 9:00 AM until service begin at 10:00AM, St. Stephen AME Church, 302 Church Street, Leesburg with Reverend R.D. Daniels, eulogist. Interment: Florida National VA Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.

Such a jewel. You always been there for my sweet cousin and I since we were little. Loved doing sleep overs at your house. You will truly be missed… We love you.
I’ve had nothing but respect for you for as long as I can remember. Your example of strength and integrity has helped me. Thank you for the unconditional love you showered on your granddaughter. Family was important to you and you not only talked about it your actions supported your words. Love has come full circle and I’m sad to see you go but know you have the immeasurable peace you so desire. Miss you already.
