Obituary:

Dorothy H. Shabazz, 75, of Clermont departed this life on Saturday, December 7, 2019.  Dorothy was born on August 26, 1944 in Valdosta, GA.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Dorothy leaves to cherish precious memories: husband, Abdul Shabazz; daughter, Constance Shabazz-James; sons, Rahman Shabazz, Mahdi (Kim) Shabazz, Elijah (Tonya) Shabazz; sisters, Amanda Smith, Charlie Mae Moore, Lovely Denn Flowers; brothers, Charles Flowers, Allen Flowers; 9 grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 5:30 – 7:30 PM at the mortuary.  A service will be held on Monday, December 9. 2019 at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, 811 North Powers Drive, Orlando, FL.  Interment: Orlando Memorial Gardens
