Obituary:

Deborah Denise Clark, 62, of Taft, departed this life on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. Deborah, affectionately known as “Ms. Dee”, was born on May 5, 1958 in Orlando to Erma and Freddie Clark, Sr. She was educated in Orange County Public schools and graduated from Oak Ridge High School, Orlando. She was a Publix Store Manager prior to her demise. She also was a local cosmetologist. She enjoyed traveling, going on cruises and, above all else, loving on her grandchildren. Deborah was an active and faithful member of St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, Taft. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Ms. Dee is survived by her devoted daughter, Ronda Mercer; sisters, Karen Clark and Sherlie Clark; brother, Ronnie Clark; 8 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020, 11:00AM at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, 9000 Boyce Avenue, Taft with Pastor John C. Simmons, officiating. Interment: Taft Cemetery.

Executive Order in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic… we will only allow 10 individuals in at a time to enter the funeral home during Friday’s visitation. We must adhere to these guidelines so that we all can remain safe and secure during this crisis. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

    Ronda and family I am deeply saddened to here this. You know she use to be my manager in St.Cloud. Oh how she loved you and those twins! I am so sorry for you and all your family. Will be saying prayers for you all. May she forever rest well in paradise
