Obituary:

David Belony, 38, of Orlando, departed this life on Saturday, March 11, 2023. In the West department of the country Haiti, a son was born on November 11, 1984 under the name of David Belony, more precisely in the commune of Croix-des-Bouquets, whose mother is Mrs. Marie Josseline Victor and father Mr. Edgard Belony. He had many brothers and sisters such as: Yvens Belony, Kensmond Belony, Edson Belony, Edou Belony, Erick Belony, Moïse Belony, Eliotte Belony, Ernst BELONY, Marie Berlenda Olivier, Marthe Belony Lavanture, Noelta Belony Gay , Nicole Belony, Gina Belony Abellard, Marie-Flore Belony, Emmanuella Belony, Johane Belony and Edgarline Belony. He had had many nephews, nieces, and cousins who were very dear to him.

David did his primary studies at the National School of Beudet and his secondary studies at the Divine King College of Croix-des-Bouquets. He was a professional carpenter. At the age of 22, he had his first child: Nidjinsky Belony. A few years later, he left the country to go to Chile in order to obtain a better life. He met and married the love of his life, Louisena Nicolas. In 2019, he had his second child: Anastasia Victoria Nicolas Belony. David wanted the best that life had to offer, so he joined some of his brothers and sisters in the United States, more precisely with his sister Marie Berlanda Olivier. With all his strength, he ended up achieving this goal since he was a great worker without complex.

This departure leaves us with a bitter dish that no one can taste. The great writer Francois de Malherbe said “that death has rigors like no other: we have
no matter how much we pray to her, the cruel one that she is, closes her ears, and leaves us to cry.” This separation is hard for us brothers and sisters, children, friends, family members respective afflicted by this mourning. The time has come; it only remains for us to say to you: rest in peace. May the earth be light to you!

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023 from 4-6 PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, 10:00 AM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Pasteur Harold Nicoleau, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.
