Beryl – I stumbled on this quote and hope it will be of some comfort to you and your family. “Just know that because someone you love is in Heaven, there is a little bit of Heaven in your home!” May God Bless you, your mom and your beautiful family.

Mrs. Ruby, so very sorry to hear of your loss, but I know that Mr. D’Arcy is securely wrapped in the arms of our Lord, no more pain and no more suffering. I pray to God for your strength and healing. Let the good memories of so many years comfort you, and at times bring you the brightest smiles of remembering your most loved one. My sympathy and much love to you and family

I met the Brewster family through his son in Queens NY.
After meeting each family member, for some unexplained reason I felt at home. I quickly understood why. Many times thereafter, I was welcomed and invited to share meals prepared by Mrs Brewster and others. Mr B, as I often called him, would ask me how is life. He had this ability to see through my concerns and find the light. I eventually began to look at life as he did-I still do. His soft spoken voice which spoke loudly will never be diminished. To the family, my condolences. May he rest in eternal peace

Auntie Ruby, Beryl. and Pat, my sincere condolences on your loss–our loss. You all and Uncle D’Arcy were a big and important part of my, Joel, and Cedric’s lives growing up, and into adulthood. As I early this morning watched the service, many memories of Uncle D’Arcy’s and many visits to our house after service at Thomas and our occasional visits to your house in Queens came to mind. I recall seeing him last at Cedric’s wedding more than 20 years ago. Though he is no longer with us here, he and you all will forever live in my heart, mind, and soul. May the Lord continually bless you all and grant dear Uncle D’Arcy eternal peace. Joy (Bramble)
