Obituary:

Daquan Neville “Daddyo” Smith, Jr., of Orlando, departed this life suddenly on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Daquan, a lifelong resident of Orlando, was born on November 12, 2003 to Eboni Tucker and Daquan Smith Sr. He was educated in Orange County Public Schools and was a student at Florida Virtual School at the time of his demise. He was also affectionately known as “Mr. Fix It” by his family. He was a very tech savvy young man. Daquan also enjoyed cooking, looking after his younger family members, and being a prankster. He was a skilled landscaper and loved Spongebob Squarepants as well. Daquan was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Daquan ‘Daddyo’ Smith Jr. leaves to cherish his memories: loving parents, Eboni and Daquan Smith Sr.; brothers, Dayquan Smith, Daquantay Smith; sisters, Kyiermani Smith, Nyahayza Smith, Jaleeya Smith; maternal Grandmother, Delthy Graham; paternal grandparents, Sharon Smith, Akpan James; fur baby/puppy, ‘Princess’ Smith; devoted aunt, Taylor Keeley; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021, 1:00PM at Orlando Baptist Temple, 4400 N. Powers Drive, Orlando with Pastor Timothy P. Tucker, officiating. Interment: Tangerine Cemetery, Tangerine.

    Didn’t personally know my great nephew Daquan Smith Jr, but I could tell by the few times I been around him in his teem life, he se like a respectable, caring person. Prayers to his parents Daquan and Ebony and the family on both sides. I hope his legacy lives on through his family. And he is joined with our loved ones on the other side. πŸ™
