Obituary:
Daphne Rena Edwards, 76, of Orlando, departed this life on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. She was born on April 5, 1945 in St. Catherine, Jamaica to Methella and Clovis Jackson. Professionally, Daphne worked as a certified nurses assistant for several years.
Daphne dedicated her life to her raising and caring for her beloved family. She enjoyed cooking and keeping a clean home. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her family to follow. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley Edwards; son, Hector; sisters, Eulah Levers, Thelma Oldacre, Marjorie Jackson; brothers, Kelvin Cameron, Keith Jackson, Horace Jackson, Norman Jackson; grandson, Diego; great grandson, Diego Jr; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 4PM-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022, 11:00 AM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Pastor Arnold Porter, officiating. Interment: Orlando Memorial Gardens, Apopka.
