Obituary:

Dana L. “Rasta Girl” Gould, 60 of Orlando, departed this life on Sunday, February 4, 2024. Dana, a lifelong resident of Orlando, was born on December 17, 1963 to Carol Gould and Matthew Smith. She was educated in Orange County Public Schools and graduated from Jones High School. She dedicated her life to her family, her faith and community. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her children and family to follow. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Dana is survived by her 5 children, Addie Barber, Joshua Brown, Princess Thomas, Prince’-Femine, Queen Thomas; brother, Harold (Turkesa) Green II; 1 grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 from 4-6PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, 11:00 AM at The Apostolic Worship Center, 8001 Silver Star Road, Orlando with Bishop Frank E. Thompson, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.

    Rest in Paradise, my Niece, I have wonderful memories in my heart of us growing up together and having good times. You knew the Lord and always spoke his word. You will be truly missed!!
