Obituary:

Clarence Lee Haynes, Sr., 71, of Eatonville, departed this life on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Clarence was born on April 4, 1954 to the late Louise and John Haynes. He was a dedicated employee at Darling Industries for several years and retired as a supervisor.

He was a member of St. Lawrence AME Church, Eatonville before his health began to decline. He instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all of his family to follow. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, and spending time with his beloved grandchildren. He was an extraordinary and giving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Mr. C, as he was affectionately called, is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Haynes; 2 children, Dianetra (Ketonquot) Hill, Clarence (Kennesha) Haynes Jr.; siblings, Willie C. Haynes, Johnnie Lee Haynes, Gracie (Edgar) Mae Bowen, Glory Pettiway, Mark Haynes Sr.; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 from 5-7 PM at St. Lawrence AME Church, Eatonville. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, 12:00 Noon at Redeeming Light Center Church, 109 Washington Avenue, Eatonville with Pastor Travis Kendrick Sr., officiating. Interment: Eatonville Memorial Gardens, Eatonville.
