Obituary:
Cheryl Crouch, 59, of Orlando departed this life on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. Cheryl, a lifelong resident of Orlando, was born in on January 31, 1962 to Ermie and John Dale. Cheryl accepted The Lord as her Savior at an early age. After earning her B.S. Degree in education, Cheryl began her career in teaching in the Orange County Public School System. Her career as an educator allowed her to impact the lives of students and colleagues at various schools until she retired from Shingle Creek Elementary in 2015. She served faithfully under Bishop Thomas S. Lee of Ebon Temple. Cheryl put God first in all that she did and she made sure her family knew who God was and how good God is. God knew she served her purpose and decided to call her home March 10th, 2021. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She’s survived by a loving and devoted children, Heath Crouch, Carl Crouch, Tshara Slade; mother, Ermie Dale; sisters, Floretta Jones, Wanda (Elroy) Whittaker, Almeda (JC) Jefferson; brother, Fredrick Dale; 3 grandchildren; along with a host of neighbors and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021, 11:00AM at EBON Temple, Inc., 7001 Wallace Road, Orlando with Bishop Thomas S. Lee, officiating. Interment: Orlando Memorial Gardens, Apopka.

What a joy it was to work with Cheryl for several years at Shingle Creek Elementary , She always had a bright smile to go with her fun personality and joyful spirit. May her family find comfort in knowing that she was loved and will be missed among those who worked with her. May our God hold the family with his love and strength during this sad and difficult time.
So very sorry to hear about Cheryl. She was a beacon of Jesus’ love at Shingle Creek. Cheryl saw the good in every student and lovingly ushered them to where they needed to be. Carl, Heath, Tshara, she spoke of you so often over the years, and was proud of your accomplishments. She totally Dighton in her family! May God’s peace and fond memories comfort you.
