Obituary:

Charles Patterson, 85, of Orlando, departed this life on Monday, March 3, 2025. Charles was born on May 28, 1939 in Bronson, FL to the late Ruby and James Patterson. He worked as a truck driver for several years until he retired.

Charles, affectionately known as ‘Deuce of Diamonds’ by his co-workers, was a loving, caring, and respectable man. He loved watching TV, fishing and watching sports. Above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His grandchildren always gravitated to him. Charles raised all of his children with values and morals. He was a provider and devoted his life to caring for his beloved family. Charles will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memories: loving wife, Ruby Jean Patterson; 4 children, Valerie (Jesus) Torres, Charles Patterson Jr., Vernon ( Nelly) Patterson, Vicki Patterson; brother, Freddie Lee Patterson; 17 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, 11:00 AM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Woody Omega, officiating.
