Obituary:
Charles Devon Whitlock, 75, of Orlando, departed this life on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Charles was born on December 21,1949 in Madison, Florida to the late Fred Honeywell and Emma Whitlock. He graduated from Jones High School, Orlando at the age of 17. He mastered his upholstery course at Mid Florida Tech. Charles was married to the late Barbara Whitlock in 1971.
He was the supervisor at ORMC in environmental services for 40 years, as well as the supervisor at Florida Hospital for 25 years. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. His love was unconditional to all.
Charles leaves to mourn his memories: his loving mother, Emma Johnson; 5 daughters and 1 son, Toinette Davis (Benjamin), Bernice Williams, Belinda (Marvin) Whitlock, Jacqueline Whitlock, Latasha Whitlock, Mickael Jones all of Orlando; 5 sisters, Dolphne Dehaney (Lawson), Darlene Iverson, Dorothy Whitlock, Lisa Simon (Norris), Cathy Walden (Dannie); 2 brothers, Gregory Whitlock (Dalphne) and Pirly Johnson; 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; and a host of other family, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 4-6 PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, 11:00 AM at St. Mark African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1968 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando with Pastor Terence R. Gary, I, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando.

My condolences to the family of Mr. Charles Whitlock. Mr. Charles was a very kind hearted and soft spoken man. Mr. Charles showed love towards everyone that came in contact with him. Mr. Charles will be missed 😇🙏🏾❤️. Praying for the family ❤️.
