Obituary:
Carol Yvette Gandy-Holmes, 61, a lifelong resident of Orlando, departed this life on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Carol was born on March 13, 1964 to Hazel Burnett and Albert Hamilton.
Carol was educated in Orange County Public Schools and graduated from Edgewater High School. She was employed as a secretary at Orlando Health prior to her demise. She had a fun-spirited soul whose smile was stunning that it would light-up any room. What gave her the most joy in life was raising her children and spending time with grandson, whom she loved with all her heart. Carol was a beautiful, giving and kind individual that made a lasting impact on many lives, and she will forever be missed.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Shameka (Raven) Smith, Mary (Stefan) Burney; brother, Anthony Gandy; 1 grandson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, 12:00 Noon at King’s Way Baptist Church, 1000 22nd Street, Orlando with Pastor Gloria Jolly, officiating.
