Obituary:
On Saturday February 19, 2022 Brandon “Santana” Torres was taken home to be with the Lord in eternal rest. He was surrounded by his loving family at the time of his death. He had lost his battle with kidney disease and suffered complications to his heart.
Brandon was survived by his loving mother, Brenda Ramos and devoted father, Norberto “Tito” Torres. He has left behind 4 brothers Israel “Izzy” Kenneth “Kenny” Norberto “Pookie”, Antonio “Anthony” Torres, and One sister Carmen Torres. 2 step brothers, Giovanni and Carlos along with a step sister, Brianna step mother Stephanie, and step father Ben. He had three nephews Yeriel, Leroy, and Antonio Jr. Maternal uncle “Bigo” and wife Monica. Paternal uncle Norberto and wife Suhail, Aunt Erika and her husband.
He was predeceased by his loving maternal grandfather Israel Ramos and grandmother Carmen Ramos, uncle Israel “Mogi” Ramos, paternal grandmother Blanca Rodriguez and grandfather Carlos Rodriguez. Brandon also leaves behind many cousins, great uncles and great aunts, and friends that all loved him very much. He was born in Hallandale, FL on August 28, 1995 and was a resident of Orlando until he was in high school when the family moved to Inverness, FL.
The family learned that Brandon had given himself to God in his last few weeks of life in which they find comfort in knowing that he walks with the Lord and he passed with grace and was at peace.
Brandon was a kind loving man who would do anything for someone without expecting anything in return. A man with integrity, respect, and loyalty and who wanted to one day own his own barber shop, however because he was committed to fight the battle of his life, he rarely had strength to achieve his goals. He was known as Santana by his close relatives and friends. They find comfort knowing that Brandon will be looking over them with his contagious smile flying high with his angelic wings.
Funeral services will be held at Calvary Assembly Orlando, 1199 Clay Street, Winter Park, FL on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 10:00AM. The final resting place will be held at Orlando Memorial Gardens, 5264 Ingram Road, Apopka, FL at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for financial support to cover the funeral expenses. A gofundme account has been set up. Please contact Orlando Memorial Gardens, Apopka for more information on how to make contributions
