Obituary:
Bertha W. Cooper, 92, of Orlando, FL departed this life on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Bertha, affectionately called Mae Mae, was born on March 21, 1932 in Bonneau, SC to the late Eloise and Charlie Wallace.
Bertha was a woman of great wisdom. She dedicated her life providing for her beloved family. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all of her children and family to follow. In her spare time, she loved sewing and gardening. Bertha was and will continue to be an inspiration to us all for living life in an exemplary way. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She leaves to cherish her love and memories to her devoted children, Zetta Williams, James Mitchum; 6 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, 11:00 AM at Washington Park Cemetery, 2600 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando with Pastor Julius Cleveland, officiating.
