Obituary:
Aubrey “AJ” Brown, Sr., 57, was born on October 14, 1967, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He lived a vibrant life full of diverse interests and deep connections with his loved ones. AJ graduated from Evans High School, and became a man of all trades, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit throughout his career.
He was known for his enthusiastic hobbies, including break dancing, playing basketball, and his love for dogs. AJ’s unwavering dedication to his family was evident in his roles as a devoted father, grandfather, uncle, brother, friend, and mentor. He embraced his loved with an unconditional love that left a lasting impact.
AJ’s comforting words to his family, “Do not worry about me! God saw me getting tired. Until we meet again”, reflect his caring nature and the strength of his spirit. He passed away on July 5, 2025, in Orlando, Florida leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love and resilience.
AJ is survived by his his children, Latoria Brown, Audrey Brown, Mariah Brown, Destiny Brown, Aubrey Brown, Jr., and Aiden Brown; 4 brothers, Timothy (Denise) Coleman, Troy Miller, Michael Calloway, and Dexter Drakes; 2 sisters, Penny Porter and Phyllis Miller, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 4-6 PM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, 811 North Powers Drive, Orlando. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, 11:00 AM at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 4724 Raleigh Street, Orlando with Pastor Omega Jenkins, officiating. Interment: Eatonville Memorial Gardens, Eatonville.
