Obituary:
Anton Terrell “Tony” Holmes, 51, of Orlando, departed this life on Friday, December 20, 2024. Anton was born on January 13, 1973 in Miami, Florida to Annell Holmes-Clark and John A. Holmes. After receiving his formal education, he enlisted in the US Navy and was honorably discharged.
Tony was a dedicated family man. Aside from his military involvement, Tony enjoyed cooking, watching sports, and spending time with his beloved children, and attending family gatherings. He instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all of his children and family to follow. Tony was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Anton is survived by his loving wife, Mary L. Holmes; 2 children, Anton Holmes Jr., Jontarious Holmes; mother, Annell Holmes-Clark; father, John A. Holmes; brother, Joshua M. Holmes; step father, David Clark; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, 10:00 AM at Grace Bible Church, 801 Dorscher Road, Orlando with Pastor Gene Pritchard, officiating. Interment: Woodlawn Memorial Park, Orlando, FL with full military honors.
