Obituary:
Anthony Darrell “Peezy” Hamilton, 58, of Winter Garden, FL departed this life on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. Anthony was born on August 30, 1964 to the late Patricia and Willard Hamilton in Houston, Texas. He was employed as a sales representative for several years with Aggressive Appliance Store. He enjoyed watching football, fishing, gambling and spending time with his family. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Peezy, as he was affectionately called, is survived by his wife, Cynthia B. Hamilton; daughters, Shacarra, Ashley, Antoinette and Nevaeh Hamilton; son, Anthony Hamilton, Jr.; brother, Alfred Postell; sisters, Michelle Hamilton, Sarah Poole, Pamela Hamilton, Kayla Hamilton, Deshonda Hamilton, Lemeka Hamilton, and Precious Hamilton; 6 grandchildren; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022, 11:00 AM at Mt. Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church, 420 Hull Avenue, Oakland with Pastor Joseph Brooks, officiating. Interment: Oakland-Tildenville Community Cemetery, Oakland.
