Obituary:
The Lord, in His infinite power, called His son, Alvin Maurice Bell, home on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the age of 59. Born on November 7, 1965, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Alvin lived his life out loud and on purpose, embodying an unapologetic faith and devotion as a musical artist.
Alvin graduated from Howard University and later earned his Master’s degree from Webster University. He was a proud and active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., as well as The McBride Masonic Lodge #390, the Central Florida Urban League and the NAACP. A passionate singer and award-winning artist, Alvin dedicated himself to using his talents and voice to bring praise to Almighty God at his home church, St. Mark AMEC, Orlando and all throughout Central Florida and beyond.
Alvin is survived by his loving twin sister, Dr. Alva (Carl) Bell Bullard; as well as a host of other family members, his fraternity brothers, church family and numerous friends who loved him dearly. Alvin leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and compassion that will be cherished by all who knew him. His spirit and impact will forever resonate in our hearts.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 5-8 PM at the church.
