Obituary:
Alma Jean Smith, 73, of Orlando, departed this life on Monday, March 11, 2024. Alma, a lifelong resident of Orlando, was born on December 2, 1950 to Alma and Edward Brown.
Alma was employed as a nurses assistant for several years. She dedicated her life to her family, her faith and community. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her children and family to follow. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Alma is survived by her 6 children, Michelle Sheppard, Alphonso Anderson, Tyrone Anderson, Tanya McMillan, Darryl Smith, David Smith; brother, Robert Brown; 14 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 4-6PM at the chapel. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, 11:00 AM at Divine Orders International Ministries, 1336 N. Pine Hills Road, Orlando with Pastor Mandy Connelly, officiating. Interment: Eatonville Memorial Gardens, Eatonville.
