Obituary:

Alma Anderson Bryant, 91, of Winter Garden, transitioned from labor to reward on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. Alma was born on July 4, 1929 in Sanford, Florida to Josephine and George Anderson. Alma was a faithful and active member of Carter Tabernacle CME Church, Orlando, serving in several capacities until her health declined.

Alma dedicated her life to service to her family and community. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was the matriarch of the Bryant family, who instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her children and grandchildren to follow. Alma was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her: daughters, Josephine Anderson, Benita (Larry) Bryant-Glover; sons, Clarence (Linda) Anderson, Sr., Harry Bryant; 6 grandchildren; a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2020 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020, 11:00 AM at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Rev. Dr. James T. Morris, officiating. Interment: Washington Park Cemetery, Orlando, FL.
