Obituary:
A’aSean Anthony Kerr, 17, of Orlando, departed this life on Friday, January 20, 2023. A’aSean, affectionately known as ‘Shawny/ Mr. Smooth” to his family and friends, was born on may 23, 2005 in Orlando, FL to Daffodil McDonald and Arville Kerr. He was a student at Heritage Preparatory Christian School at the time of his demise.
Shawny was a caring, trustworthy, kind hearted and respectable young man. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed playing the drums at both his school and at church. He was an active member of Tabernacle of Glory Apostolic Church, Orlando. His smile and love for life will live on in the hearts of those who knew him best.
A’aSean is survived by his loving mother, Daffodil McDonald; father, Arville Kerr; 3 sisters, Simone (Kevin) Edwards, Simone (Joel) Thompson-James, Sophia (Cedric) West; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 5-7PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, 10:00 AM at Tabernacle of Glory Apostolic Church, 495 W. Silver Star Road, Ocoee with Pastor Robert Young, officiating. Interment: Woodlawn Memorial Park, Orlando.
