Obituary:
Marie Alice Vital, 71, of Apopka, departed this life on Monday, March 23, 2026. Marie was born on August 16, 1954 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti to Anne Julien and Andre Prochet. Professionally, she was employed as a certified home health nurses’ aide for several years. Marie was a quiet woman but her personality was something that could captivate you and leave an impression on you. She enjoyed just nurturing others and was widely known as the community mother. Her passion for serving God was evident as she cooked and fed those in need. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Today she is survived and remembered by her devoted husband, Marc Vital; 2 daughters, Natacha (Michael) Nicholas, Virginie Vital; brother, Harry (Barbara) Prochet; 3 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
A service of celebration will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026, 11:00 AM at Bethel Seventh Day Adventist Church, 5431 S. Rio Grande Avenue, Orlando, FL.
