This is truly a sad loss for the By Faith Community, but a superb gain for the Heavenly Body. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family during this trying time. It was an honor to know him and a provide privilege to serve with him as deacons of our district within COGBF.
I had the pleasure of meeting Deacon Eddie Dean Williams this year, and I can truly say, from my brief time knowing him, that he was a great man. He was a close friend to my dad, and I know he, along with so many others, will deeply miss Deacon Williams’ earthly presence. May God welcome his beautiful spirit into the Kingdom of Heaven and grant comfort to those who loved him most as they move forward. He was a great man who loved God and loved his wife, and we should all be thankful we had the chance to cross paths with him in this lifetime. May he rest in peace, and may his name live on in glory.
