DeMichael accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age. He loved being apart of different ministries, particularly the choir and the dance ministry. He was even the dynamic voice behind “I get my praise on” touring around the country with the St Mark Children’s Cathedral choir.

At a young age DeMichael developed a strong work ethic determined to work hard to achieve anything in life he wanted. DeMichael attended Orange county schools in Orlando, graduating in 2010.

After graduating from high school, he began working in the hospitality industry. Despite his health challenges DeMichael LOVED to work! Seeing his dedication and discipline, he quickly move up to even becoming the general manager at Zaxby’s in Clermont.

After leaving Zaxbys he was later employed by Mission Inn, where he had many tasks. DeMichael not only worked as the house keeper supervisor for Mission Inn, he loved working with his family’s food truck as the Manager of Quit Smacking. He was very instrumental in getting the business started, working all aspects of it. We would be so happy to see him coming as we called him Chef, often getting us out of the busy chaos that we often found ourselves in, and he did it effortlessly.

DeMichael had an deep love for his family, cherishing not only those who shared his blood but especially those who embraced him as one of their own. When he moved to Oakland, the entire community became his extended family.

Fishing was more than just a hobby for DeMichael, nothing could change his weekly Tuesday fishing trips with his fishing buddies. Those moments brought him joy and peace amidst life’s challenges.

Despite facing health struggles, DeMichael was a dedicated worker who poured his heart into everything he did. He was a devoted father, and so very proud of his 2 sons. He constantly celebrated their accomplishments with love.  We thank God for sharing DeMichael with all of us. He will truly be missed
