I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. Our heartfelt condolences to the entire Sims Family. R.I.P. Pastor Arthur D. Sims

My twin brother and I met Arthur Sims at Paine College in 1961 where we were freshmen. We were almost always together. He was our best friend for more than sixty years. He was not like our brother. He WAS our brother. .We had a saying, “we arrived at Paine College as twins but left as triplets.” May God bless his family whom he loved dearly.

A Giant of a God Fearing Man. You had a booming singing voice that you shared with us. I remember one of the last times you were at Mt. Calvary Hilton Head doing a revival and you said in your sermon if you don’t use your God given talents you will lose them. That statement has stuck with me and I’ve bee using my talent of singing that God has given me. Thank You for your dedication to the ministry. You will truly be missed. RIP Rev. Dr. Arthur D. Sims
