I will miss Vernon’s calls and watching sports with him on tv. He fought a good fight, he tried hard to keep.gping, but God has the final say.
My dear cousin and my first hero when I was a small child. While he was ten years older, he was my oldest male relative when we resided in Avoca, New York. His athletic prowess was something for all to emulate as he made a tremendous name for himself and all of up so very proud. May his memory live on forever as he will surely be missed. “Hit that ball Vernon”!
I worked. Alongside if. Vern in Alaska. He wanted experience in architecture while still in the Air Force. So he would come to our office in his spare time & soak up what knowledge we had. When he ended his A.F career he. came to work for us. He was a talented Architect-In-Training. Always remember he made his own shirts & suits since he was so tall. He, his dear wife & kids left Alaska as he was accepted at the Boston Architectural Center. Such a great guy-am sure he had a successful career.
My best
Howard Partch
