Obituary:
Beatrice Victoria Albertine Cummings, 98, of Winter Garden, transitioned from labor to reward on Saturday, January 16, 2021. Beatrice, affectionately called “Pastor Betty” by her family and friends, was born on May 14, 1922 in Westmoreland, Jamaica W.I. to Catherine and David Porter.
Pastor Betty dedicated her life to serving God, her family and community. She was an ordained clergy with the Assemblies of God. She instilled love, wisdom, and Christian values for all her children and grandchildren to follow. Pastor Betty was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her: sons, Glenworth (Monica) Cummings, Norman (Amrita) Cummings; 3 sisters, Carmen Spencer, Shirley Martin, Lethel Shand; 5 grandchildren; a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 4-6PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021, 11:00AM at Radiant Life Assembly of God, 8151 Clarcona Ocoee Road, Orlando with Pastor Jeffrey Cromwell, officiating. Interment: Woodlawn Memorial Park, Orlando.
