Vernell "BooBoo" Headley, 82, of Kissimmee, Florida departed this life on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. Vernell was born to Gertrude Taylor and Arthur Lee Vickers on September 4, 1935 in Pineview, GA. She was a successful business owner and managed Vernell's Grocery Store in Orlando for several years. Vernell was a very kind, generous, loving Christian woman with a heart of gold. She was loved by all and she will be deeply missed.

Vernell leaves her precious memories with her daughter, Catherine (Jack) Douglas; sons, Lee (Somjit) Vickson, Rocky (Alice) Jackson, Victor Headley, Vernon Headley; and a host grandchildren; other relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 4-7PM at the mortuary. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017, 1:00 PM at New Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 4201 W. Columbia Street, Orlando with Minister Terry Walker, officiating. Interment: Florida National VA Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.

God has a perfect memory and purposes to bring our loved ones back to life in the future paradise to come as God has promised. Please find comfort in Acts 24:15 were it gives us hope that there will be a resurrection. Wishing your family comfort and hope.
