Obituary

Tobe Newton, 91, of Orlando, departed this life on Monday, February 13, 2017. Tobe was born on November 12, 1925 to Sug and Fronnie Newton in Leary, GA. Tobe worked as a truck driver for several years. He also enjoyed mowing lawns. He was a devoted father, brother and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Tobe leaves to cherish his memory: son, Bishop Billy G. Newton; siblings, Irene Crayton, Lucille Morgan, Willie W. Newton, Johnny J. (Lois) Newton; 5 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 5-7 PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017, 11:00 AM at The Word of God Church, 1733 Mercy Drive, Orlando. Interment: Highland Memory Gardens, Apopka.
