Note: Revision of my Tribute.

"Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints." Psalm 116:15

My heart is heavy upon hearing of the "Home Going," of Steve. Most people called him "Pete", but I met him as Steve. The first time I met him was in Washington, DC, at his Mason's Convention. I was blessed to visit Florida, and going with him and his grand children to the "Holy Land Experience." I'm thankful also, for meeting the rest of my cousins, and enjoying the delicious meals that Pearline prepared. I know that Steve is rejoicing now with his Savior and Lord, whom he loved and proclaimed. He's just another Soldier, Going Home to be with His LORD. Steve has accomplished many things, but he can't "Crown" Jesus, until all the saints get there! "When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all, see Jesus, we will sing and shout the victory."Hallelujah! "Sleep on and take your rest. we all loved you, but God, loved you best.

With Much Love and Prayers,
Cousin, Lillian A. (Philadelphia, PA)

The Pastor and members of New Hope Temple Baptist Church, do bow in humble submission,to the will of Our Father and His Son, Christ Jesus, to extend our sincere condolences, to our dear member Deaconess Lillian A Holmes, in the "Home Going" of her dear cousin, Minister Stephen E. Reeves, Sr. She spoken of the grand time she had visiting her cousin and family in Florida. She fondly talked about the time they went to "The Holy Land Experience," and the fine dinners prepared by his wife Pearline. We as Christians, are enlighten to know, "To be absent from this body, to be present with the Lord." Rejoicing because, Minister Reeves, has moved from "Life to Life and Labor to Reward." Before the Death Angel could touch him, his spirit was snatched into the presence of His Lord and Maker, he loved and proclaimed. Our New Hope Temple Family, will keep you in our hearts and prayers. "The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way."Psalm 37:23. Amen

Dear Family. My heart is very heavy, hearing of the \"HomeGoing\" of Steve. The short time I\'ve known him, he was truly a man of God.I was welcome by Steve and Pearline into their home.
