Obituary

Leonard Daggett, Jr., 67, former resident of Merritt Island, FL, departed this life on Friday, June 23, 2017 in Atlanta, GA. Leonard was born in Augusta, GA on March 2, 1950 to Jeannetta and Leonard Daggett, Sr. Leonard was a graduate of Merritt Island High School and Savannah State University. He retired from Walt Disney Company after over 20 years before relocating to Atlanta in 2009. Leonard was also a proud and active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Leonard was a loving father, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Leonard is survived by his daughter, Tenaya L. (Daniel) Jones; brother, Brian (Werner) Daggett; sisters, Janice Condry, Cynthia (Allen) Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 5-7PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017, 11:00 AM at Parker Memorial Baptist Church, 4101 Mobile Avenue, Cocoa. Interment: Riverview Memorial Gardens, Cocoa.

Our thoughts are with Leonard's family. We are deeply sorry for your loss. One day soon, death will be eliminated for good (Isaiah 25:8), and we'll have the opportunity to welcome back our loved ones. We look forward to that time with you.
