John W. "Duck" Kemp, 80, of Winter Garden, FL, departed this life on Monday, July 3, 2017. 'Duck' was born in Dublin, GA on November 7, 1936 to Candy Guidence and Mary A. Kemp. 'Duck' was employed as a truck driver in the citrus industry for several years. John was a loving husband, father, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

'Duck' is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Kemp; sons, Johnny L. Kemp, Willie D. Kemp, Ray (Barbara) Kemp, Marvin (Jackie) Kemp, Keith Kemp, Kevin Kemp; sister, Shirley Williams; brothers, Joseph Wright, Clarence Wright; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 from 5-7PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017, 12:00 Noon at St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church, 330 Center Street, Winter Garden, FL with Pastor Frank L. Massey, Presiding. Interment: Oakland Tildenville Cemetery, Oakland.

My sincere condolences for the lost of your love one ,even after a long good life death is still painful because our Heavenly Father didn't create us to die,We long for the time when death will be no more nor things that causes pain and sorrow revelation21:3,4

Dear Kemp Family,please, accept my condolence. Almighty God provides comfort in the Bible at 2Corinthians 1:3-4. Further, Revelation 21:3-5 and John 5:28-29 state a positive hope for the future.
