Ethel Lee Brown Lane, 70, of Winter Garden, FL departed this life on Sunday, March 12, 2017. Ethel, a lifelong resident of Winter Garden, was born on November 24, 1946 to Oscar and Lucille Brown. She attended Orange County Public Schools and graduated in 1965 from Charles R. Drew High School.

Ethel loved her family unconditionally and often put their needs and interest before her own. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye. She touched the lives of young an old. Ethel’s heart and the doors of her home were always open to those in need of clothing, food, finances and even shelter. Her love for neighbors and friends was pure and genuine and it made her the very special person she was. Ethel’ s dedicated service was unique in itself. After 25 plus years she retired from Walt Disney World. Watching television was one of her favorite past times. She loved to cook and invite friends over. She loved to help people in any way possible.

Ethel leaves cherished memories with her loving family: husband, Oscar Lane; children, Erwin Hardy Sr., Valerie Hardy (Austin) Ofoma, Sharon Hardy, Jerome (Shivonne) Lane, Jose Lane (Shonda), Sr.; brothers, Mitchell (Mattie) Brown, Curtis Brown; grandchildren; Austin Ofoma, Jr., Erwin Hardy, Jr., Tabitha Hardy, Jose Lane, Jr., Imani Lane, Nicholas Ofoma, Khareem Lane, Jace Lane; sisters-in-law, Anna Colbin, Joyce Woods, Phyllis Scott; devoted friends, Mary McLoyd, Carol Jean Ward, Jessie Lee Williams, Margaret Craft, and Betty Hardy; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many sorrowing friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 5-7PM at the church.
A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017, 2:30 P.M. at St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church, 330 Center Street, Winter Garden, with Pastor Frank L. Massey, officiating. Interment: Winter Garden Cemetery, Winter Garden, FL.

I would like to gave you and your family comfort about what Jehovah promise . And it is at Reve21:3-4 that death will be done away with and he will bring your loved one back. These ones will here Jehovah voice.
