Derrick was my childhood friend, playmate and classmate. I\\\'ll forever hold these memories in my heart of the days we played games on Amador Circle. To the family you have my condolences and deepest sympathy. May the peace of God comfort and keep you.

I am sorry for your loss. Please allow God to comfort you through this painful loss through His promise to care for our dead loved ones in the resurrection at Acts 24:15. Death was not a part of God's original purpose for mankind and that is why it is so hard to deal with this kind of loss. But our loving Heavenly Father has provided a solution to all of our problems including sickness and death through His kingdom{government} in the hands of Jesus Christ our Lord real soon so that we can welcome our loved ones back in the promised resurrection to enjoy the wonderful life He purposed on a paradise earth. {Psalms 37:9-11,29}
