Annie Mae (Green) Ray, 95, of Orlando, departed this life on July 20, 2017. From her birth in Quincy, Florida, on October 31, 1921 to her death, she nourished people with love, and happiness. She was dedicated to supporting her family, Grands, Great Grands, Great Great Grands and others both financially, and by always offering moral support. She was fondly known by many names: Annie Mae, Sis, and her many sibling gave her the utmost respect by always calling her Mother.

She was born on a farm to the late Elder Mitch Green, and Sister Susie (Holt) Green, and was the youngest of 6 girls. She was baptized in Quincy and became a Christian at an early age and was affiliated with many churches: Mount Hosea, Missionary Baptist Church, Quincy, Florida; Mount Oliver AME Church, Sanford, Florida; Free Will Holiness Church, Sanford, Florida; First Born Church, Sanford, Florida; Balls Temple Church, Orlando, Florida, and currently First Christ Ministries Church Orlando, Florida.

Annie Mae moved to Sanford, Florida in 1949, where she raised, and educated her five children, by working on the farm, and various housekeeping jobs, until she completed high school through Crooms Academy Adult Education Program, in 1960. She continued her education by completing homemaking classes, and worked as a head cook at Touchton Drug Store, Cape Carnival Cafeteria, and at several other restaurants. She moved to Orlando, Florida in 1970, and worked as the head cook at Let Us Lettuce for year, winning several awards for developing recipes. She also worked as a Foster Grandparent for over 10 years, and received recognition for Outstanding Volunteer Service to Special Needs Children.

She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Audie Lee Hudnell Sr. (Angeline), Upper Marlboro, MD., Mitch Hudnell, Orlando, FL.; two daughters, Evelyn Singleton (Wade), Cavynn Sands. Eighteen grandchildren (18) Mark Elliott Wilcox (Vonetta), Jacksonville, Fla , Andre Hudnell, Upper Marlboro, MD., Patrick Wilcox, Orlando, Fla., Anthony Hudnell (Deirdria), Cheltenham, MD., Annette Shoemore (Gary), Orlando, Fla., Eddie Galloway Jr., Orlando, Fla. ,Juan Galloway( Kathy), Orlando, Fla., Audie Hudnell Jr., (Tutimia), Menfee, Calif., Vadis Martinez(Jose), San Diego, Calif., Salena, and Sabrina Wilcox Orlando, Fla., Jon Hudnell, Tampa, Fla, Xeron Hudnell, Las Vegas Nevada, Lakishia Sands, Orlando Fla., Salena Rodriquez, Tampa, Fla., Maurice Sands, Orlando, Fla., Nicolas Waldoulph Wilcox, Dallas Texas, Hylena Furlow, Orlando Fla., Forty-eight (48) Great Grands; Thirty-nine (39) Great-Great Grands; one devoted friend Sarah Robinson (Alston), Orlando, Fla. and one God daughter, Ebony Jones. One Godson, Waldoulph Wilcox. She also leaves to mourn a host of Nieces and Nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 4-7PM at the mortuary. A service of Celebration will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017, 11:00AM at Ball's Temple First Born Church of the Living God, 1977 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando with Bishop Herbert Cohen, Officiating. Interment: Restlawn Cemetery, Sanford.
